Manifestation..what is it? how do i do it? Well, if we follow the oxford dictionary, there are a few definitions, one being " an event, action or object that clearly shows or embodies something, especially, a theory or an abstract idea", "the action or fact of showing an abstract idea" and " a symptom or sign of alignment"
Given the general definitions of manifestation, we can conclude that what we manifest may be abstract. However, the idea of "abstract" is left simply to the artist and the viewer.
Below, i will demonstrate various examples and methods for manifesting. on a personal note, i have explored manifesting and have seen results from it.
To begin, lets start with this, manifesting is not as hard as it may seem. if you think about it, you are simply asking the universe to give you what you need or want. This seems simple enough and it IS.
Allow me to explain. The universe is ALWAYS listening to you. Thusly, you should show gratitude towards the universe. This is the first step. no matter what you do in life, always show gratitude for what you have. even if you do not have much, thank the universe, or which ever god you pray to, for the things you currently have.
One method that i like to use is super simple. Typically, i do this while out on a drive. I begin by thanking the universe for all that i have and any recent things I have gained in life, such as a paycheck from work, a message from a friend, the ability to do something, etc. Next, I state "if the universe is listening to me, please show me a [hot pink car] (i ask to be shown something specifically uncommon, so as not to receive a false sign). I'll ask for a sign a couple of times and then ask questions i need answers to such as "if I will get a raise at work, please show me a neon green sport car". if i'm given these signs, I once again give thanks.
I also like to journal manifestations, or as some call it, "Scripting". To do so is also simple, but there are so many different ways you can go about journaling. Personally, I write down what I wish to manifest as though it has already happened. an example of a journal entry by using the "present/already have" method would be:
"I'm so thankful for my house. I love each of the 4 bedrooms it has. The kitchen is the perfect size and the backyard is so big! The garden in the front yard is beautiful. I'm happy that my boss gave me a raise so that i could afford to buy this house and still have thousands in my bank account, which grows daily. Money is attracted to me, so I never have to worry about it. I have such an overabundance of wealth that I am able to share with those in need."
Another effective method is the "3-6-9" method. There are a couple different ways to do this one. For both, you want to visualize what you want and how you will feel once you have it. The first way to do it, is to write your desire 3 times, your intention 6 times and the outcome 9 times.
ex:
"i'm happy and grateful not that I make $20 per hour at work" (x3)
"My boss has given me a raise" (x6)
"financial freedom and success" (x9)
The 2nd way to it write your affirmation 3 times in the morning, 6 times in the afternoon, and 9 times in the evening for 33-45 days. each day, Look for signs that what you want is coming your way.
Lastly, live as though you have what you are manifesting.
The Pillow Method is probably the easiest one, as you simply write your affirmation on a piece of paper and keep it under your pillow or in your pillow case. Read it to yourself every night before bed and allow the universe to do it's work.
If you prefer a more hands on, creative way to manifest, the Box Method is fun. There are a couple ways of doing this one as well.
One way to do it is to simply grab any box with a lid, it can be a shoe box, a jewelry box, a coffee tin, what ever you have on hand. Once you have acquired your vessel, you will want to set an intention for it. You can say something like "anything i place in this box comes to me quickly, effortlessly and with harm to none". Next, place things in your box that you want; such as written affirmations, magazine clippings, pictures from the web, clay sculptures, etc. BUT! place each item in ONE AT A TIME. each item you place in, look at it, read it, and imagine that you already have it. Sit with the feelings and emotions of already having this thing you want. Once you place it in the box, consider the deed done.
Another way to go about the box method is to follow the same steps as above, however, leave the box open outside under a new moon. As each manifestation comes to fruition, dissemble your box.
No matter what method you choose to use, the following tips will prove to be usefull:
Always be specific in what you ask for
Use positive affirmations
Visualize your manifestations
Stay grateful and show gratitude every chance you get
Meet the universe half way (you have to put in work as well)
After you begin the manifestation, carry yourself as though you have what you want
Never use future-tense terms like "i will.." or "if" or "when i.." always speak in the present tense.
These are just a few ways to manifest. There are thousands of methods out there. Meditation, books and connecting with the universe will always bring you out on top.
